Roger became known for playing James Bond in 7 films, succeeding the British actor Sean Connery. Born in the United Kingdom on October 14, 1927, he lived his last years in Switzerland. The actor brought a more relaxed tone to the most famous agent, and was the favorite of many fans of the series. Another prominent role in his career was in “The Saint”.
The actor was also known for his social work, dedicating himself to being an ambassador for UNICEF. In 1999, he was decorated as a Knight of the British Empire.
