Actor Peter Fonda has died at the age of 79 due to lung cancer.
Peter, born on February 23, 1940, was the son of the great actor Henry Fonda and father of actress Bridget Fonda. He was also the brother of Jane Fonda, who is still on the air with the series Grace and Frankie.
One of his greatest hits is the film Easy Rider (1969).
The news of his death was given to People magazine by his family: “It is with deep sadness that we share the news that Peter Fonda has passed away,” the family said.
He died on August 16, at 11:05 a.m. at his home in Los Angeles. The cause of his death was respiratory failure due to lung cancer.
