Born in Philadelphia, Grace Kelly was of Irish descent. At just 12 years old, she displayed her theatrical aspirations, performing in the play Don’t Feed the Animals in her hometown. Later, the aspiring actress studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, catching the eye of Stanley Kramer, who cast her in one of his films.
